Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Wales
Refugees Living in Wales
A survey of skills, experiences and barriers to inclusion
Research undertaken by the Centre for Migration Policy Research at Swansea University – in partnership with Welsh Refugee Council, Wales Strategic Migration Partnership and Assembly Government – explores, for the first time, the background, skills and experiences of refugees living in Wales and the barriers to their potential inclusion as part of Welsh society.
The project was part funded by Welsh Refugee Council who was also part of the advisory group which contributed to the formulation of the survey questions. One of the authors of the report (Tina Crimes) is now employed by Welsh Refugee Council as a Policy and Communications Officer.
