The text is too small to read
On the top right of every page you can find an option to make the text larger. Just click the large 'T' to enlarge, and click the small 'T' to revert to the original sized text.
Alternatively, if you'd like more control over the size of the text, all major web browsers have options to resize fonts in their option menus. These are described in more detail below:
Internet Explorer 6
At the top of the page go to view > text size and you can select a new font size.
Internet Explorer 7
On the bottom right of the browser is a magnifying glass symbol and a % sign. Left-clicking this will enlarge the page, or selecting the drop-down menu on to the right will enable you to specify a zoom level.
Firefox / Mozilla / Flock
Either hold down control (or the command/apple key on a Mac), and press the + or - keys to make text bigger or smaller.
Alternatively, you can go to the top of the page, and click view > text size and you can increase or decrease font sizes here.
Safari
Either hold down command/apple (or the control key on a PC), and press the + or - keys to make text bigger or smaller.
Alternatively, you can go to the top of the page, and click view > make text bigger or make text smaller to increase or decrease font sizes.
Opera
Hold down the shift key and press + or - to resize.
Alternatively, you can go to the top of the page, and click view > appearance and you can zoom pages in or out here.
You would like to increase the contrast
Also on the top right-hand-side of each page there is the option to view the website in monochrome, with white text on a black background. You can alternate between all of these options easily.
Browser compatibility
The Welsh Refugee Council web site has been tested thoroughly on all current browsers, and will also run happily on most older ones, such as Internet Explorer 6.
Due to the differences in the rendering technology of these browsers, the look of the site may vary slightly between them. Should you encounter any problems viewing the contents of this site however, please email us at: web@welshrefugeecouncil.org
